The Hispanic Arts Council of The Bowers Museum of Cultural Art
invites you to celebrate
El Dia de los Muertos, The Day of the Dead
Sunday, October 24th, 2004 ~ 12 to 4pm
*featuring*
George Newnam's
CASA DE CALAVERAS - HOUSE OF SKELETONS
(2 SCENES WILL BE ON DISPLAY, FOR ONE DAY ONLY!)
PLUS!
*Live Entertainment provided by Fiesta Ballet Folklorico
*Sugar skulls, Dead Bread (Pan de Muerto) and tamales for sale
*See an Ofrenda or traditional altar
*Local artisans will display wares and offer face painting.
*High School students can participate in a poetry contest
