I've actually been surprised.
I have a clicker that I use to tally up TOT as they come. And the numbers match up with the candy taken very well. I've never been more than 20 off. And considering 300+ kids, only 20 taking 2, or a smaller handfull cheating even more, I'm actually fine with.
As the neighborhood gets older, though, more kids might be tempted to double dip.
But...the whole candy setup is changing next year anyway as we add a couple "rooms", and move the candy drop to a different 'room' that makes it easy to hand out individually, so it's probably a moot point.
