for a fog machine it really depends on what you want to spend i have a kroger fogger that seems to work great i payed $10 for it on a sale, and two eliminator dj fog machines $25 400watt and a $60 700watt i highly recommend them. i have heard great things about visual effects fog machines and intend to get the v-950 for my self this year as i hear it is as close to continuous as a fogger can get but it is around $260.00

Which would this be? I'm looking for a good water affect, but I'm just wondering what you had in mind regarding this.

I understand this is a reliable unit:

FrightProps - Halloween Props, Pneumatic Props, Animated Props, Halloween Accessories

I've been considering one for a bayou scene.

Exactly. I've seen a few different types of water lighting for around a hundred dollars on eBay.

I'm so bummed. We did our taxes early this year for a change and received a refund on April 14. That is a miracle in our house. We usually OWE in a big way since our dependent abandoned us. Anyway, we agreed we each could take a portion of the rebate check to do whatever we want with it. Now I checked to see when it should arrive....get this, because my husband's social security number which ends with 99 is written on the line for head of household, our rebate check will be mailed with the last batch that will be mailed out toward the end of July. If it had been my social security number, which ends with 09, we would have received our rebate check this week. Ack! Life is just not fair sometimes. Please excuse the rant, but I do feel better know!

If it wasn't outside I'd say some Gemmy full-size props. I LOVE my cauldron-stirring witch! Maybe builds her a waterproof cove and add some effect lighting with the change!
