I am starting to plan this year's haunt, I put one on for the local PTO during the Fall Festival. I have four rooms at my disposal, two locker rooms, a bathroom/sink area and a shower room, with various divided cells. In the past I have have done an asylum theme and a haunted high school theme. My first year doing it, I had three days to come up with and build props for a haunted house, it was a challenge! I am considering a Sweeny Todd-ish theme this year. My only problem is a very small budget.

So, my first idea is a hallway where people half to pass all these hands protruding from the wall, some will be fake, some will be real actors who will struggle and scream, but only the hands will be seen. Perhaps, they are trying to break out of a prison? or an oven? Now, how can I make the hands look most realistic? Any ideas?
