Default New LED lighting idea for props...just found

I was talking to a new guy at work yesterday and he was telling me about this easy LED lighting project using a mini blind rod to make a great lighting effect. I was looking at it and it definitely has some possibilities for props. I'm thinking about using it for the rim of my cauldron.

heres a link to the video"

Heres a link to the forum where I found it:

That is very cool. It's also just a great LED lighting tutorial. Thanks

I'm electrically-challenged, but I do have a pair of 9-volt battery-powered LED's. Is there any reason this wouldn't work with what I've got? I'm wondering if my LEDs are bright enough.
Excellent tutorial!

That would look very weird if the LEDs were flickering. Nice catch!
