The SSC-32 is the board HalloweenBob and EvilBob are using, it's better supported by VSA, and it's designed specifically for Hitec servos.

A unique "Group Move" allows any combination of servos to begin and end motion at the same time, even if the servos have to move different distances.
ok I will check on the cost of that one too

I was looking at the one you suggested Capt'n and it didn't mention anything about recording. Do you know if it does this?

The Lynx board doesnt record, it is run by VSA, which can have a song or spoken dialog .mp3 or .wav file imported into it. The board is plugs into your computer's serial port. If you want to have a controller that can play without a computer, they are out there, I just dont remember which ones. I think Dudedrummer(a member here) uses one. If you arrre going to have it just talk without using a computer, then another board might better work for you.

Hi Di, you can run a longer cable between the laptop(say just inside the door of the house) and the display, I think you can run a serial cable abt 100' or so without any trouble.

I started thinking abt your payment.. I should refund your shipping amt and just meet up halfway to handoff the servos.. Whats prob easier, since you arrre a lot closer to Franks than I am, you can pick up your own servos and save the shipping cost.. lemme know what u wanna do..

Also, would it help if I said I get a discount using Fedex? Cause I do.

Me too, our only problem is that they would prob go all the way to Membis to get to you.. If you wanna plan on it, as soon as I get them, I'll call for a meet up, or you can pick up..
