I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I will chime in.

I recently purchased Parallax 28823 USB servo controller. It will control up to 16 servos. That would be 4 three-axis skulls, with jaw movement, but without eye movement.

I am currently using mine to control two talking Buckies that I built based on Scary Terry's design. (I'm very proud of myself, will be posting video as soon as I get some, and am looking forward to now joining the "3-axis club.")

The controller cost about $40.

It works great with VSA (which I still have to purchase.)

It comes with software and is very easy to use.

It is a servo-only board, but it doesn't require programming, like a prop 1 board would.

I will need to win the lottery to keep up with these group buys. It's still March, and I have been spending (and will continue to spend) about $100 per month this year, so far, getting ready for this year's Halloween.

Got the skulls.
Got the controller.
Need the servos.
Need to purchase VSA.

Abunai yes That would be My controller of choice too.
I'm going to call them this Morning
I was just showing the Guys some of the fun they can have if they are only making one skull, lol
I like the little controller because it will even let you record something, be its not a very big sound chip..
so the best way to go would be a Parallax 28823 USB servo controller and a free software program like I stated above

Hugs Blinky Thanks for your Input I Value Everyones opinion.

The best board is still the Lynxmotion SSC-32.. http://www.lynxmotion.com/Product.as...&CategoryID=52. At $47 shipped, it controls 32 servos(eight 3-axis skulls, or five 3-axis skulls w/full motion eyes), uses VSA, and controls more different types of servos.

A Wall-wart, my dear lady, is the small AC power cube that comes with most electronics, CD players, phone chargers, etc.. plugs into the wall, cord dangles from it...

I'm recommending the Lynxmotion SSC-32. It runs 32 servos, while the Parallax, only 16 for the same cost. To run 32 servos, or 8 skulls, you'd need a second Parallax, for another $40. The SSC-32 is the board HalloweenBob and EvilBob are using, it's better supported by VSA, and it's designed specifically for Hitec servos.

A unique "Group Move" allows any combination of servos to begin and end motion at the same time, even if the servos have to move different distances.
