Hey Blinky, any change to have just a hardware pack to buy like in your how-to for the odds and ends? I'm getting the kits from Joel minus the skull plates (thanks again captn), I have the wallwart, the lindberg skulls, the controller (I think), the VSA...I'm not sure what I am missing.

do you have the bracket that it takes to hold the skull plate?
and if you run all 6 skulls off of this one card you will need 2 wallwarts to run the servos there is a left bank and a right bank power to the control card. Hugs Blinky

Is the bracket the 1x1 metal piece that the Captn said was at Home Depot or Lowes that I just checked at Lowes and couldn't find?

ok how many skulls do you want to make all 6 right now? then you will need 42 servo links in your choice of size only pick one size the 256 or the 440 then you will need 3 packs of ball links there are 6 ball links in this pack you will need 1 balllink for each servo main connector that goes on the metal disc on rod and 2 for each jaw hook up. hope this has helped.
I just got an email from Dubro for 50% off the 860 (2-56) and 861 (4-40) twelve-pack swivels. Dubro's 860 and 861 prices are abt $16 per twelve pack, makes them abt $8-ish. I'll post a Group buy for them... The 2-56 swivels have 4-40 thread so you dont have to adapt anything, you can pair a 2-56 swivel right up to a 4-40 swivel..

6 skulls, 4 servos per = 24 servos... 6 skulls requires 6 links/ea = 36 links total. You CAN mix the links, 2-56 and 4-40.. I use a 2-56 at the servo arm, and 4-40 at the rod screw. With the Dubro 50% off buy, abt $8/twelve pack, three packs for the 36 you need.. abt $24
