sheepies,
I just made sure my pipe had a little tilt to it. I took the elbow off the end the fog came out. I took a small cardboard box and made it so the fog would be forced down and cut a slit on the bottom to make the fog spread out. This seemed to really make the fog stay down and also spread more than just coming out the end of the pipe.

Thats what i've been trying to tell everyone ! If you stop the fog from shooting out the end it stays down a lot better, even with no ice ! I thought of the box idea too, but i found an easier way is just to throw something like a spread out towel over the end. I used a bunch of cornstalks to do it in our graveyard and it worked great. I just covered the end of the pipe with about 20 stalks spread out and the fog seeped out all throughout the stalks. Looked great. The fog still rose a lot because it was very windy and raining. But whenever it calmed down it hugged the ground even long after the frozen bottles were melted. Funny thing tho......i realized hugging the ground is great and all, but that when it rises it looks just as good in it's own right ! Gives it that old horror movie graveyard look where the fog is 4 or 5 feet deep.

Just wanted to mention to you people that these are wonderful ideas. Did anyone have any improvements to their designs that made them more effective? Does outputting fog through the PVC ever cramp the machines output or risk damaging the machine, or do you have to keep the machine a certain distance away? Again, these ideas are wonderful. Do the elminiate the need for ice?
