I'm looking for ideas for a crank ghost puppet, something beyond the "norm". I already have a regular crank ghost that hangs in the front window and visitors have always loved it.

I stumbled across somebody basically giving away a couple of garage door openers last month. These have the motor and track, the whole thing being about 10 feet long. I'm going to build a tall frame, mount the door opener on it and use that to drive an effect in/out about 10 feet. I hit on the idea of mounting a crank ghost underneath it as the puppet, but I don't want an "ethereal beauty". I want something scary as sh** that when it starts traveling toward you - you start backing up.

Any links to sites you've come across that have exceptional ghost puppets would be appreciated.

I've made one myself - I will tell you it is a bit of an ambitious project, but the results were well worth it...and I've considered making yet another one, but it is a lot of work, and haven't done so yet...
(if you decide to try this, NOW is a fine time to start, to allow plenty of time for refinements)
