what type of air brush set do you all use? and How big a compressor?

do you like one brand over the other? what do you all think would be a good brand to start off with?

I've got a Paasche airbrush and a compressor that was made specifically for it. I could never get it to work right. I think I might have been using the wrong type/consistency paint.

Hey Blinky, I use a Paasche for most all of my airbrush work, there a real workhorse and take some abuse. I think you get what you pay for in airbrushes so if you get a good gun to start with you wont have all the frustrations that go with a five or ten dollar gun.

Thanks for your input what Model #? do you guys have are they easy to clean?
I have lost feeling in my left hand now are they easy to use? light weight?

In defense of the cheaper airbrushes, I've used this one for 2 years. I paid $12 for it at Harbor Freight Tools and it has served me well. For the price, it has a very precise needle, very fluid dual control, and is easy to clean. I use it to paint fishing lures and have never had a problem with it.


These lures are pretty small, so the brush I use has to be pretty good.
