I came across this forum a month ago and it is terrific. The amount of information shared at this site is insane. Many thank to everyone, you have given me plenty to get my gears turning for next year.
I little bit about myself. I've always liked Halloween as a child, but I must admit through my early teenage years my Halloween fever waned quite a bit when I stopped being able to trick or treat due to age. My Halloween fever came back at age 21 when my wife and I bought our first house. The freedom to do whatever we wanted was overwhelming.
Anyhow, we've been decorating the front of our house each year scaring many tot's and their parents even with the our meager decorations. I've seen a few good looking yard haunts locally over the years BUT NOTHING LIKE I'VE SEEN HERE. There are so many ideas here it is unreal. We've since moved to a new house that isn't located on a court which is great for Halloween traffic. This street had so many more tot's this year than we ever had at our old house. I'm already planning and purchasing for 2008. It is going to be great next year!

Same here. I was proud of my Halloween decorations until I saw some of the elaborate displays shown here. Now I'm a little embarrassed that I was so impressed with my work.
