you seem like you have some cool ideas, and alot of things that i'm interested in...how did you do the n'awlins voodoo theme? i wanted to do a voodoo type them this year. did you have props out side? what kind of outside props did you have for your victorian theme?

Fondest Greetings! I'm a huge Halloween party enthusiast. I LIVE for The Party.
Themes I've done are Arachnaphobia, Victorian Sideshow, N'Awlins Voodoo, and Haunted Mansion. I let the family pick this year's theme, Grave Hill Ghost Town. Not exactly my first choice, but I like a challenge.
I'm a total music junkie, and spend more time tweaking my party playlist than anything else. You'll find music from Beetlejuice and Corpse Bride, Oingo Boingo and Siouxsie and the Banshees, Johnny Hollow, Jill Tracy, Creedence. Just a big gumbo of various styles.
I'm not into gore, am more along the lines of Disney's Haunted Mansion, Martha Stewart Halloween, Victorian/Old-Fashioned.
I'd say my greatest strengths are decor/ambience, and my weakest would probably be makeup. I take that back; my biggest weakness is budgeting.
The vastness of everyone's creativity and talent on this site is so inspiring. Seeing other peep's take on things never ceases to amaze me.
