Today is the seventh anniversary of my getting run over by a speeding semi. Thoughts of this inspired a wacky, frightful idea(a new one!!!) In celebration of my untimely death seven years ago toady(the car is in my backyard) I pondered how a person would react to visiting my haunted, haunted house if there was no visiting or ticket selling , the front door would just open?
Would they walk in?
Would they want to remain inside as the large, heavy steel bar dropped behind them, locking that door ?
Of course all of this is just a probably perfect set up for the true , weird story I would be telling them about this house and the wreck, then I show them the car.
All of this done with no humor at all (hard for me to do that!)
?? Then tonight, nobody came here!
Maybe some other time?

Well, the busy summmer is over, school is starting today and my house spooky business will drop to almost nothing for awhile.
I can use the rest!
We ended the summer season with a bump. My Wife heard someone walking across the the floor of the next room, coming toward her, the doorknob did it's clicky-grindy noises, THEN she heard me directly above her leading the house tour! So it sure wasn't me coming through that door!?
She yelled out for me to come see her quickly!
We found nobody in the house but an upstairs light was now on that she and I knew had been off?
I returned to my 4 customers they were about to go into the wine cellar (the most haunted room of the house) and now for the first time ever the surveilance camera for the wine cellar is nothing but static interference!
Maybe "Somebody" down there didn't want us to know they were there before entering that room?
Did I mention this is a "Haunted" Haunted House?
The customers got a little extra thrill this night.
Trying to figure out these events using plain logic doesn't seem to work since if this was the work of a human (alive, "alive" by our common standards) the hidden light switches for the room upstairs eliminates several people on our short list.
My dog was chained out beside the house and he had nothing to report, since that door near him was unlocked to begin all of these things. He would have been barking at someone entering the house.
That door was now open, the door my Wife was on the other side of..

Yesterday (My birthday) a man "Found" my house! He was extremely over-the-top with his extreme compliments that came nonstop from him!(I could have listened to him talk for hours!)
Maybe there were real compliments since he never tried to borrow any money, ask for a donation or sell me anything?
They will be coming back with like minded friends for a tour.
(Was this a Birthday present paid for by someone else?)
