As far as infusing alcohol, I did find this.

The little "jack o' olives" are a neat touch.

Doh!

I was supposed to post my Amaretto recipe!
(actually, I though I had, my bad )

Amaretto

Melt 1/2 c. granulated sugar and 1/4 c. dark brown sugar in 3/4 c. very hot water.
Mix in 1/2 c. corn syrup until completely blended
Add 1 1/2 c. 80 proof Vodka, 1 tblspn almond extract and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
Stir well.
Store in a sealed container.
Makes 3 cups.
