Default cratebeast for sale

I am selling the cratebeast that I built this year. I have alot of money and far far more time invested in this thing but Im sad to say it must go. I have decided that from here on out I will only be useing most of my props one year then selling them to pay for next years new props.

I used this thing for two eight hour days at my works walk threw and 4 hours at my yard haunt and it worked flawlesly.

now for the question on everyones mind. How much? well I would like to get $1000 for it plus shiping. Shiping would be between $150 and $200 depending on where you live.

That's a good-looking prop and I sincerely hope you get your asking price for it.

What a great find this site has been so far...I have been reading for a few days now, and just joined due to my questions. This is my first post.

This is a project that I would like to build, but I don't have much experience with the prop controller boards. Can anyone give me information as to the two boards I am looking at in the photos above, and where to purchase them?

Thanks.

wow talk about a thread from the dead.

to answer youre question the boards are both from EFX-TEK the main controll board is a prop-1 and the other is an ap-8 sound board. unfortunitly i found out last week that the ap8 has been discontinued but they are working on a better and more powerfull version.but it wont be out by halloween.

Thank you for your reply. Were you able to get your price for the crate?

I have seen several crates and yours is the only on I have seen that compares with the (professional) Monster In The Box which is constructed of latex sides and steel frame. As I look inside, I can see why. Very nice job. After seeing the effect of dual cylinders downward thrusting cylinders, the "top openning" MIB's are of no interest to me.

I have found other boards since my post, but I have a question regarding your use of dual action cylinders as opposed to single action. Why double? Won't single action give you the same result?

Thanks again.
