If anyone is interested in laser discs I have a butt load of them. Laser disc player doesn't work very good. If anyone is interested let me know. Trying to find them a good home. Someone who still has a laser disc player. I have a laser disc player also its a nice one and still works basically. For some reason it will load the discs but stops short of playing them. It was a high dollar LD player. If anyone is interested in it and knows more about fixing or repairing them drop me a line. I'm trying to get them off my hands to someone that can fix the player. I know we have a few electronics people out there. If your interested in the laser discs I can send you a list. As is condition of course. I've seen on ebay what they are going for. I just thought I'd give my friends at the forum first dibs, besides I've never sold anything on ebay, I have bought but never sold. I don't want to trash them. Oh well! let me know.

I don't know what's going on with your machine, but I do know that a very common problem that makes people think their disc player is ready to toss out is: A dirty lens!
Most laser disc players were built to play cds, so you can purchase one of those lens cleaners, the disc with the tiny tiny brushes on it, that you put in and play. This will often clean the lens of dust and debris that have accumulated. Give it a try!
One of the first new-release laser discs I bought was the Phantasm 2-disc set, and I had so much fun playing that, the movie looked and sounded so awesome. I used to love renting the discs, sad to see all these laser stores gone. DVDs are cool but somehow they don't have the same magic and mystique.

I haven't used the player in years. It's a nice dual sided player. It plays 12 inch, 7 inch, cds and even those little tiny discs, that you can't even find anymore. But its heavy and just tired of it. The discs are too much a hassle. I have both Phantasm movies. About 80 titles in all including some 80's concerts and videos. I loved them for years. When people were renting VHS tapes we were buying laser discs. I have pm'ed Mr Halloween but if you interested in them tomanderson and Mr. H is not I can offer them to you if your interested. I'm going to post all titles. OK
