greasemonkey,

Try Midnight Evil's air cannon. Priced at only $194.70 including S/H, they're great! I own two of them and cannot wait to unleash them this season.

Good luck!

Well congratulations, Cindy, on being able to do that. But, actually, the price for Midnight Evil's is the lowest I've seen for a professionally made air cannon. And being a pro haunt, purchasing a pro air cannon is the right decision for us.

Good luck in creating yours.

Sin23323,

If you could tell us where you're getting the components for such an unbelievably low price I'm sure many of us would appreciate it!

Where I'm at, the tank alone costs about $20. The lawn sprinkler solenoid valve and transformer run about $30-$35, the various fittings, pipe, and hand-held trigger probably another $20 or so.

I do think most tend to sell for too high a price, but when you add in the time and effort to create one, I think it's probably worth about $100.
Standard wholesale to retail markup is 100%.
$200 doesn't sound too unreasonable to me.

If you could post a parts-list, price and sources, a lot of us would be grateful.
I might even crank out a few myself!

By the way, I'm not affiliated with Midnight Evil in any way, in fact, I don't think I've ever heard of them before.

It was this one i was talking about

hauntedyards.com/cannon1.html

The sprinkler thing i picked up from Home depot for $11, if you watch ebay you can get the 12volt power supplies for .99 cents, i got a bunch off there for that price. You can also find air tanks off there for around $9.99 i seen, but I already have about 8 around here I'm not using so didnt have to purchase one.

That one isn't bad, but the tank is awfully small and it doesn't have a trigger.
I'd use at least a 10 gallon or the compressor will have to recharge it constantly.
I hooked up two, ten gallon tanks for my ankle tickler. That worked much better.

Nice score on the parts!

Lowes sells a outdoor keychain remote style thing for around $15, if you can find them at KMart they are only usally $10 there. I dont use them anymore but I used to and they worked great. Ended up having to many remotes and couldnt remember what went to which prop, so i had things going off in the wrong places, ended up making a control box with switches instead.
